This week Upper Kindergarten Baker have been experimenting with ice. Some of toys were mysteriously frozen in ice and the children were set with the difficult task of working out how to get them out! One suggestion was warming the ice with their hands, but the ice was too cold and it made their hands red. They then tried some salt and warm water using pipets to drop warm water onto the ice which made it melt much quicker. The children enjoyed this activity so much they did it again… and again!
