On Monday and Tuesday this week, Year 6 took part in a Bikeability course to help them understand how to stay safe when cycling on the road. On the first day of the course, a lot of the learning took place in the playground, then once they had all passed that stage it was time to move onto the local streets.
The two-day course gave the children a real cycling experience where they could learn first hand how to deal with traffic. Well done to all our cyclists, despite the wet weather you all remained confident and listened carefully to the instructor.
The second half of the class will be taking part in the course next week.
