One of Mrs Graves and my favourite books is ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse’ by Charlie Mackesy. The illustrations are wonderful and the messages Charlie Mackesy spreads are full of positivity, kindness, love and hope. Each page either features a horse, fox, mole or boy, or the friendships between the characters.
Pupils were asked to design their own page for the book, thinking about the message they would like to spread. They also tried their hand at the artwork, inspired by Charlie. All the pages are going to be out together to create a Year 3 book.
