London North Area U11 Indoor Athletics Tournament held at the Redbridge Leisure Centre. We took one girls and one boys team consisting of nine pupils. Each pupil had to compete in two field events and two track events. In the field events their jumping and throwing is measured and compared with all the other competitors. The same happens with the track events. They are timed and their times compared and points awarded depending on where your school has finished in each event.
We simply had a brilliant competition with many of our pupils achieving their personal best scores in their events and winning many of the team races. When all the points had been added up we found out that the girls had achieved a brilliant second place overall and that the boys had come a superb joint first. Thank you to all the pupils who competed they were a real credit to themselves and our school.
