Yesterday we held a very successful House Cross Country event for Junior pupils. There were 8 races in total, with boys and girls from each year group competing in a race. The children were encouraged to pace themselves as they lapped the field, and to race their own race. As long as they crossed the finish line, they earned points for their team.
The results were so close this year, but when the points were added up, it was announced that Chestnut House were the overall winners! Well done Chestnut!
We are so proud of our pupils for showing such team spirit, cheering on their team mates, and making sure that everyone crossed the finish line.
