Some of Year 5 have been looking at 3-d Shapes. They each were given a shape and had to find out how many faces, vertices and edges each shape had. Everyone enjoyed this interactive lesson as it really cemented their knowledge and understanding of maths terminology. The children were very enthusiastic and were not fooled with shapes that have no edges or vertices in their construction and they clearly identified the shape with an apex.
