Miss Gowland was delighted to welcome everyone into the hall for our Celebration Assembly.
The children shared their achievements outside of school. Olive from 2H had gained her Level 4 in swimming, Fifi in UKC received a trophy in gymnastics, and Eleanor from RH was delighted to have won a drawing competition. Ayla and Eloise from 3B shared that they had participated in a dance show at the Harlow Playhouse. The theme was “A Journey into Space,” and the dances were in the styles of tap, modern, and ballet.
Football awards were earned by Harrison and Carter from 2H, who presented their trophy for the football tournament they participated in. Ethan and Louis from 1V were thrilled to tell everyone that they had received medals for the penalty shoot-out they took part in.
Ben, Ayla (3B), and Theo (4B) were thrilled to gain their pen licenses and were all delighted to receive them.
Everyone applauded the children who had gained a “Star of the Week” certificate, achieved a merit, and received a science certificate. Miss Gowland was impressed by how many classes had been awarded merit certificates, particularly Years 4, 5, and 6 for their wonderful performance and behavior during our end-of-year production of “Magpie Manor,” which was warmly applauded by all. Miss Gowland wished everyone a happy and enjoyable week ahead.
