As part of their History topic, Mrs Graves kindly took the Year 2 classes on a historical tour of the school. The children were excited to visit the attic, up the secret staircase to discover where the servants of the house once slept. They learned about how the servants would collect the water in buckets from the water pump outside and they even saw the well in the cellar. They also discovered some interesting things in the school library which was once the family dining room!
