The pupils in Year 6 and Year 7 had a very creative day working with visiting sculptor Darcy Turner. They used wire to sculpt various objects: a cat, unicorn, shark, trophy and pig. The children had to work collaboratively with great perseverance in order to make their finished pieces. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience and their knowledge of sculpture grew hugely throughout the day. We were all very impressed by their final pieces.
