The Heads of Houses were thrilled to hold their first assembly of the academic year on Friday 20th September, bringing together all the children within their respective houses. It was also a pleasure to introduce the new Year 6 prefects to the children.
The assembly provided a great opportunity for the children to come together and reaffirm their house motto and song. They were reminded of the location of their house display boards, where information on upcoming events will be posted, along with the collective house points each house is working towards in hopes of winning the house cup this term. The children also discussed the various ways they can earn house points, not only by excelling in academics, sports, and other achievements, but also by being kind, thoughtful, and respectful in their interactions with both peers and staff members.
We wish everyone in Willow, Beech, Oak, and Chestnut a happy and successful year ahead in their houses.
