Building on Year 5’s study of the Tudors, the students were tasked with creating a non-chronological report on a palace or church of their choice, using a format of their preference. They were then invited to share their research with their classmates.
The children have begun presenting their projects, and Mrs. Howard has been highly impressed with the quality of work shared so far. Delilah and Margeaux both chose Westminster Abbey as their subject. Delilah created a beautifully detailed booklet, while Margeaux presented a large, eye-catching poster. Margeaux also shared that her mother had taken her to Westminster Abbey to help with her research. She described how her favourite part of the visit was walking up the Abbey’s aisle, retracing the footsteps of William and Kate on their wedding day. The class listened attentively and applauded their efforts.
Mrs. Howard was so impressed with the girls’ outstanding work that she invited them to share it with Mr. Wilson. He, in turn, awarded both girls the Head Teacher’s Mark in recognition of the excellent quality of their research.
