Achievement Award – November 2024

Mr. Wilson was delighted to announce the introduction of a new Achievement Award, which will be presented every half-term. Teachers faced the challenging task of selecting one child from their class who they felt deserved recognition for their academic efforts or social contributions. Each chosen child was awarded 10 house points for their school house.

The selected names were then submitted to the Senior Leadership Team, who carefully deliberated and chose one student to receive the prestigious Achievement Star Trophy. The recipient has the honor of taking the trophy home for the half-term.

The first-ever recipient of this award was Maria from Year 6B. Reflecting on her achievement, she shared:

“My parents were really happy that I had been nominated, and even more delighted that I was the first to be selected. We’re keeping the trophy in the living room, but right now it’s at my grandparents’ house because they’re so proud and delighted. I’m happy to share this wonderful award with them.”
