Key Stage 1 were delighted to perform their Nativity play, Superstar, for their classmates and families. The musical begins with the stars auditioning and proudly announcing their star personas—pop star, film star, mega star, lucky star, and many more! Each star worked hard to perfect their radiant “superstar” smiles.
But as we all know…
“Shine! Shine like a true superstar and herald the birth of the King of Kings!”
The story revolves around the amazing star that appeared in the night sky, guiding the wise men to Bethlehem. This same star shone over the stable where Jesus was born, helping the shepherds find their way, lit by its starlight. That is why this year’s nativity musical is called Superstar—because Jesus is the ultimate Superstar of the Christmas story.
The children were wonderful in their roles, making their teachers proud as they captivated the audience with confident speaking, fabulous singing, and dazzling dancing. It was a heartwarming performance that beautifully reminded everyone that the baby Jesus is the true Superstar of Christmas, born for us all.
