Year 2 have been studying how colours make us evoke feelings, and that some colours are warm and some are cooler.
For example yellow is like the sun, warm and happy. But blue could feel cool and relaxing like the ocean.
Pupils then used Pastel colours to create a colour wheel, identifying the warm and cool colours. Finally they created pictures using the range of pastel colours.
