Reception have recently been learning about animals and their different habitats. Understanding that a habitat needs to provide food, shelter, and protection. So, during British Science Week all three classes joined together for a fun Science habitat (den) building lesson. Creating a tree decorated shelter, making some Spring daffodils, and helping insects camouflage on the dens surrounding bunting.
Although initially the weather meant the den had to be built inside the classroom, pupils did get to enjoy their den outside in their following lesson.
