Farmer Keith and Farmer Gemma warmly welcomed the children to their farm on our lawn to see a variety of animals. We learned that the lamb was only nine days old and that their sheepdog, named “Pig,” was, surprisingly, afraid of sheep! The children were very respectful around the animals, speaking softly and asking thoughtful questions.
All the lambs born on the farm are named after foods. This year, they have Lolly, Lasagna, and Lettuce. The names follow alphabetical order to help track the year they were born. Next year, the lambs will have names starting with “M”!
A big thank you to FOCHS for organising this wonderful event, giving the children a fantastic opportunity to learn and explore. They were truly captivated!
