There were some ‘Little Green Fingers’ emerging in the Early Years school garden on Friday 3 May. Pupils in Year 6, Reception and Upper Kindergarten were enjoying helping Miss Thomas tidy up her school garden. They were working hard to clear the weeding areas by pulling up the weeds to make way for a new replacement weeding mat.
Miss Thomas said that she will be planting red onions and potatoes in the big tubs and may need some more volunteers to help do this! They children enjoyed their gardening experiences and took care to recognise weeds from the herbs and plants growing amongst them and to use their gardening gloves and use their tools carefully. Well done children, you worked very hard in the garden!
