In Year 4 this week, the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their initials in clay.
They had to roll the clay to fit their templates and then they used cutting tools to accurately cut out their letters. The children carefully experimented with different tools and utensils to decorate their creations. After drying and firing, they will use colourful glazes to finish their designs.
On a Thursday every week this term, pupils in Year 4 have been able to sample homemade bread. The children have carefully measured the ingredients and added them to the bread maker, making sure they are in the correct order. Each week they have tried something new, so far we have used raisins, chocolate, milk, cheese and different types of flour. The smell in the classrooms whilst the bread is baking is very inviting!
