Upper Kindergarten have been learning about Diwali this week. After listening to the story of Rama and Sita UKC all sat together to make a special card to take home, while UKT dressed up and enjoyed some lovely Indian food.
The class has also used paper straws dipped in paint to produce their own firework picture, they then sprinkled with glitter on top of the wet paint. They look amazing!
UKF have celebrated Diwali and Bonfire night. For Diwali the children were treated to some ‘dhokla’ to taste and Luxmi wore her special clothes to show her friends. The children went on an adventure to find hedgehogs in the school grounds to make sure they would be safe before Bonfire Night.
