On Tuesday 2 May, seven pupils took part in our first “Summer Series” concert. These concerts are an opportunity for the pupils to share what they have been learning in their music lessons with their family and friends. The concerts are small, informal and give everyone the experience of performing to an audience.
Our first group didn’t disappoint, with performances on piano, guitar, voice and violin and pieces from movies, folk, pop and rock. Some of the pupils have only been learning for a few months, whilst others are preparing for grade exams but all performed with panache!
We have lots more performances scheduled through the summer term, and we can’t wait to give all our talented pupils time to shine.
