The children gathered in the hall for our final assembly of 2024. We began with a lively rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock,” setting a cheerful tone for the event.
We were delighted to celebrate the achievements of several pupils who received certificates. Arthur in Year 1 proudly earned his first Learn to Swim certificate, Robyn in Year 4 was thrilled to receive her Grade I Piano Certificate, and Rex in Year 7 was recognized with an Achievement Certificate for his positive behavior and exceptional integration into Coopersale Hall School.
Mr. Wilson expressed his delight as Miss Gilbert shared her enthusiasm over the fantastic turnout at the Book Fair. Every child who attended had their name entered into a draw, and the lucky winners of a special prize were Rachel in Reception and Lexi in Year 3. Miss Gilbert extended her heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the Book Fair.
In the spirit of Christmas, we paused to reflect on our good fortune and discussed meaningful ways to show gratitude and thoughtfulness this holiday season.
The assembly concluded with Mrs. Jones and the whole school joyfully singing and performing actions to “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” The festive spirit filled the room, and it was a heartwarming way to end the term.
